Support programs
We sponsor three support groups.
Our local Schizophrenics Anonymous support group meets at 7 PM on the second and fourth Thursday night of every month except on holidays at Fairview United Methodist Church in the Wesley Room. Fairview is located at: 600 West 6th Street, between 6th & 7th Streets, one block west of Rogers Street. It is easier to enter from 7th Street as the parking lot is there and the door closest to 7th street (from the parking lot) is the door that leads to our meeting room, down a short hall and to the left. The meeting is mainly for consumers, but family members and friends occasionally attend to gain more understanding of what consumers experience. The only strong rule we have is confidentiality. It is all right to come late and/or leave early.

Depression/Bipolar Support Alliance
We are an official group of the national Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. We are a support group, not a therapy group. The group is very diverse with people of all ages, 17 to 80-something, and the “members” are very welcoming to new people. The only strong rule is: CONFIDENTIALITY. We meet on the first and third Thursday nights of each month, except on holidays. Our meeting place is: St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Room 15, 100 N. State Rd 46 By Pass, Bloomington, Indiana 47408 (Just north of CVS Pharmacy near the College Mall)
If you enter the church from the main parking lot to the south, go through the hallway and past a very large open room. Turn right at the next hall and room 15 is to the left just past the restrooms. We never start early, but it is fine to come late and/or leave early.
